Step 01 / 03

Teaching house prices

Module map

Imagine you are teaching a tiny system to estimate house prices. You show it examples:

900 sq ft, 2 beds → $200K
1200 sq ft, 3 beds → $280K
1800 sq ft, 4 beds → $410K

On a new house it predicts $350K. The real price was $410K. It was wrong. How does it get better?

Spoiler shape: measure the mistake, nudge the internal numbers, try again. That loop — repeated millions of times — is training.
